DeepFlo Series 30
Standard Pallet Flow for GMA
DeepFlo Series 30 are manufactured in single and double row configurations on 2”, 3” and 4” centers. Wheel options are Thermoplastic and Aluminum. Typical Pallet Weights: 200 lbs to 3000 lbs. DeepFlo Series 30 rails are specifically design to accommodate GMA type pallets (see GMA). When incorporated in a complete system, series 30 rails are capable of storing over (25) GMA pallets deep per came in a FIFO configuration. Standard GMA Pallets are widely used in the Food Industry. GMA is acumen for “Grocery Manufactures Association”. “Wrong-way” pallets have bottom boards perpendicular to the direction of flow.
DeepFlo® Series 30® is a heavy duty flow rail designed for flow through storage systems capable handling pallet loads from a few hundred pounds to over 4000 lbs.
Series 30 is ideally suited for PushBak and Order Pick systems that require flow lanes two, three and four deep and are manufactured in single and double row configurations.
Flow rails are pre-assembled standard 4'-0" and 8'-0" lengths with heavy duty flow wheels mounted in a single or double staggered configuration. Series 30® flow rails are available in various lengths with flow wheels mounted as required. Standard channels are 4" high x 1" flange x 12 gauge galvanized steel. Mounting holes are provided on bottom flange for easy insulation.
Series 30 rails are specifically designed to accommodate GNA type pallets. When incorporated into a complete system, series 30 rails are capable of storing over (25) GMA pallets deep per came in a FIFO configuration.
The number of flow rails required under each pallet depends on:
- Pallet weight
- Bottom boards surface
- Type of bottom boards (hard surface or soft wood)
- Bottom board thickness
When typical GMA pallets are used, standard rail configurations can be used:
- 200lbs - 2,000 lbs per pallet – (2) rails
- 2,000 lbs - 2,800 lbs per pallet – (3) rails
- 2,800 lbs - 3,500 lbs per pallet (4) rails
If weights fall between two ranges, other pallet and load conditions will be reviewed to assist in selecting the proper rail configuration.
Different pallet weights, within a given range, can be stored in the same lane.
