There are basic questions that must be considered when designing your warehouse:

- How many line items on an average order?
- How many units in an order?
- How will picking be done?
- Several people may be involved in picking an order, and an order consolidation process close to the shipping dock will be required.
- The number of transactions will also impact systems, layout and staffing.

Dynamic Storage Systems also provides service and replacement parts for systems manufactured by HSI Company, Inc. Lancaster, PA. Service for HSI includes modifications, renovations, inspections and parts.
Typical DSS responsibilities
DSS is a process driven organization with knowledge of labor laws, construction contracts and construction administration, and we are familiar with the construction dispute resolution process. We manage the scope of work to ensure customer satisfaction and anticipate, recognize and negotiate changes as required.
